Lab
From here down it is vault, not showcase. These are the notes I write for myself: what I am building, what I am still trying to understand, and what I documented because I was going to forget.
Want to dig a little deeper? This is the place.
AI engineering, from the inside
It is not using an assistant to write a function. It is the engineering tooling I built around the agent, which other people on the team now install and maintain together with me. The short version is in AI engineering tooling; these are the long notes.
- AI engineering: the whole design, with the pieces and the cycle that feeds them
- Tool as CLI: why an agent that does not act on the real tools is a chat window
- A standard the machine consumes: the house standard written once, materialized for each tool
- The cycle that feeds itself: friction that becomes a record, a record that becomes a new tool
The graph
Each star is a note, each constellation an area, and brightness is how often the others reference it. It is not decoration: the links were written by hand, one by one, and the drawing that shows up is a consequence of having written the vault, not of an algorithm that grouped similar words.
Expedition
For those who would rather explore than read in order: the notes became planets, and the links between them became travel routes.
